University of Texas at Arlington Timber Strong Nationals

We’re reaching out on behalf of the UTA Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI) Timber-Strong Student Team, who recently earned 1st place at the 2025 ASCE Region 6 Symposium and have now qualified for the National Competition at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, June 27–29.

This is an incredible achievement for a team in just its second year competing, and IIBEC has been proud to support their journey so far.

Now, the students need our help to cross the finish line.

The team is currently fundraising a total of $12,350.20 to cover travel, lodging, registration, and project-related expenses. IIBEC NTX Chapter will match all of the donors up to half the amount!

Every contribution—large or small—will directly support these aspiring engineers as they represent UTA, our region, and the future of the building enclosure profession at a national level.
